BIGGEST CHOOSER 2025 WEEK TWO
Well, here we go again! Time to renew, reshape, and relaunch in the new year. Every journey has to begin somewhere and our somewhere is week two of the 2025 Biggest Chooser competition. To the observations!
Beware of the Frontrunner
In five of the last six years of the competition, the week two leader has gone on to hold that pole position and win the competition. This year, Team Turquoise led by trainer Janice Hirsch is in the early lead. This group dropped 2.22% of their body weight after the first weigh-in. Maggie Moss paved the way with a percentage loss of 3.06%. By the way, the last team to give up the early lead? Team Turquoise – just sayin’.
Individual Success Leads to Team Glory
As we saw with Miss Maggie’s great start, several individual efforts have positioned their team in the hunt. This week’s overall loss leader was Kelly Holland, weighing in at 4.1%. Christopher George was our second place “loser”, dropping 3.18% of his body weight. As they say, “less is more”!
No Time for the Blues
Of the nine teams in this year’s competition, Nolan Marine’s Navy Blue squad is out of the gates the slowest at 0.46% lost. Not to worry, Nolan is an expert handicapper and is confidently laying low until his team is ready to make their move. Either that or they forgot when their weigh-in was scheduled. Look for the “Blues” to rise to the challenge.
Thanks, and see you all next week.
ALWAYS IN SEASON!
