BIGGEST CHOOSER 2024 WEEK EIGHT

The results are in and with one week to go the race to the finish line is upon us. 

Let’s go right to our three observations:

The Black Attack is in Charge

With another strong week led by Randy Roberson (10.63% weight loss), Coach Phillip’s squad has increased their lead to a full percentage point – 5.96% to 4.97% over the Red Storm. While the Black is certainly in the driver’s seat, we have seen some miraculous late comebacks in the past. In fact, Red Coach Geraldine has vowed to fight to the end and “has a surprise” in store for next week. Stay tuned!

Steve Howe Continues to Make Rock and Roll History

Did you know that Steve also played in the band Asia? Yes indeed, alongside John Wetton (King Crimson), Karl Palmer (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer), and Geoffrey Downs (Yes) the quartet recorded a massive eponymous album in 1982 featuring the single Only Time Will Tell which seems appropriate for our competition. By the way, our Steve Howe once again led all choosers with 11.53% weight loss!

It’s Still a Five-Team Race

Despite the Black Attack lead, five teams are within 2.39% points of the lead. Again, historically we have seen incredible late rallies that have turned the results upside down. Keep on believing and choosing until the end!
