We have several new classes for the May Group Fitness classes schedule.
Barre at 9am on Tuesdays with Heather
Barre class is a rigorous workout that blends elements from different exercise styles including ballet, Pilates and yoga. This is a low impact workout focusing on proper alignment. The classes blend cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance and core conditioning in a total body workout that targets the hips, glutes, abs and arms.
Butts & Guts on Tuesdays at 5pm with Heather
Butts and Guts- A class dedicated to toning your abs and glutes with targeted movements and cardio. Classes will focus on core strengthening to build muscles, in addition, it will also target your quads and hamstrings.
Aqua burn on Tuesdays at 9am with Susie
A high intensity aquatic workout that will combine cardiovascular and strengthening exercises to boost endurance and make your muscles burn. Use of aquatic exercise equipment combined with your own body resistance will be used to “feel the burn”. We will use every part of the pool to complete this workout including the water, the wall, and the bottom. If you are looking for a great cross training opportunity or to enhance swimming techniques, this class is for you.
Aqua Tabata on Tuesdays at 7pm with Kristi
Aqua Tabata is 20 seconds of BIG effort followed by a 10-second rest, repeated 8 times, mixing a variety of simple yet intense grounded and bounding exercises. Participants are encouraged to work at the level that challenges them while still maintaining good form.
Gentle Yoga on Wednesdays at 10:30am with Laura
Class focuses on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and helping students gain strength and flexibility. Gentle yoga uses classical postures with slight variations to accommodate all levels of yoga students.
