With the state of North Caroline in “Phase 2” of slowing easing the COVID-19 restrictions, we must be in accordance with this executive order. Day camps and programs for children may operate only if we are in full compliance with the “Interim Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Guidance for Day Camps or Program Settings Serving Children and Teens.” Which means in order for this camp to be successful we all need to work together to make sure we are all in compliance with this order, before, during and after the camp day.
Anyone showing signs of illness of any kind or who may have been exposed to COVID-19 should not be in the day camp facility.
Symptoms of COVID-19:
Additional symptoms include chills, loss of taste or smell, vomiting/diarrhea (children only). While symptoms in children are similar in adults, children have milder symptoms.
*Fever is determined by a reading 100.4 or higher or by subjective signs such as flushed cheeks, fatigue, extreme fussiness, chills, shivering, sweating, achiness, not eating or drinking.
Preventing the spread of the virus in the camp facility:
Has it been at least 10 days since you first had symptoms?
Have you been without a fever for three days (72 hours) without any medicine for fever?
Has it been three days since you symptoms have improved?

Each day our campers engage in numerous fitness based activities. From daily swim lessons and recreational swimming to yoga and fun athletic games. Campers at Granite Falls are always on the move.

Many of our campers choose to spend their entire summer/track out at Granite Falls. For that reason we structure each day to be completely different from the next.
